SPRINGDALE

Get to Know Springdale

Situated just north of Fayetteville and south of Rogers, many families choose to live here because it's centrally located and convenient for most workplaces. Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Tyson Foods are the two largest employers of Springdale - outside of the local school district. It’s known as a diverse, historic, and friendly town offering plenty of options for shopping, dining, and family-friendly activities.

One of the most exciting things happening in Springdale is the revitalization of its downtown. The Razorback Regional Greenway bike trail, which connects all of the communities of Northwest Arkansas, runs right through the center of town and offers riders a relaxing spot to grab a bite to eat, shop around, or soak up some history. Springdale offers an eclectic mix of national chains and local restaurants, including the best authentic Mexican taquerias in the region. Nearby Tontitown Winery offers a unique place to relax with a glass of wine and listen to some live music. And, if you want to see some great baseball and fireworks, head to Arvest Ballpark. This is the home to Arkansas Naturals, which serves as the Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.

For year-round recreation, the Jones Center offers an indoor ice skating rink, indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and more. The Parsons Stadium is another family-friendly destination that showcases demolition derbies and the annual Rodeo of the Ozarks. Springdale is also a great place to catch a ride on the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad in a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century passenger car.
