The Fayetteville Public Library reopened in 2021 after a $50 million renovation. There’s an 8,300-square-foot performance space, a 16-station teaching kitchen, a local coffee shop and deli, new study rooms and meeting spaces, and a Center for Innovation, which includes a robotics lab, a flight simulator, a CAT simulator offering training on equipment like backhoes, earthmovers, and forklifts for real-life workforce training.
As you explore toward the east of town, you’ll discover Lake Fayetteville and the Botanical Gardens, which draws more than 80,000 visitors a year and includes the region’s only butterfly house.
